The Journey is Beautiful

Let me share a little about myself. I am a southern girl from a small town in middle Tennessee.  I grew up with the world at my fingertips and a mother that encouraged me to see it all.  I didn't dream of my wedding day as a little girl.  I dreamed of crystal clear beaches and far off places.  I loved Disney not for the princesses, but for their dreamy locations.  Jasmine and Pocahontas being my favorites!  I didn't want to live in Cinderella's castle, but I sure wanted to see the world on Jasmine's magic carpet!! Do y'all remember travel?  Do you remember when you could go to the airport, look at the departures board and just....go?  Travel has changed as we know it.  I don't think it will ever look the same.  Some places requiring Covid tests, some places requiring the 14 day quarantine, some simply requiring a mask--it still won't be the same. As a flight attendant, I have been working first hand through the pandemic.  I never took a Leave of Absence...so I experienced first hand the ups and downs. I hope this blog is a place where I can share my travel experiences and life experiences.  I am a firm believer that happiness is a choice.  We wake up each morning and decide where our minds and our hearts will take us.  We decide whether or not to start the day on the right foot.  Be kind.  Listen to other people.  Do not judge.  Easier said than done, right?
