A Little About Me
I am a southern girl from a small town in middle Tennessee. I grew up with the world at my fingertips and a mother that encouraged me to see it all. I didn't dream of my wedding day as a little girl. I dreamed of crystal clear beaches and far off places. I loved Disney not for the princesses, but for their dreamy locations. Jasmine and Pocahontas being my favorites! I didn't want to live in Cinderella's castle, but I sure wanted to see the world on Jasmine's magic carpet!!
I am a forever optimist, a dreamer, and doer and an adventurer. I'll try anything once! My mother would call that a seven on the enneagram. I love swimming, hiking, dancing, and anything from Target. I would rather spend money on experiences instead of things. My favorite food is a summer ripe tomato from my Papaw's garden. I just turned 33 years old. I don't take things too seriously and laughing is good for my soul. Life is for LIVING. I work to live, not live to work. I have many stamps in my passport from 21 different countries. That is my biggest accomplishment to date.
I am currently working as a flight attendant, and have been for the past 7 years. I LOVE it. I love going to work, I love interacting with passengers, and most of all I love the perks I have to travel on my days off. I am truly blessed. Being a flight attendant isn't exactly lucrative...but free flights sure do make traveling a bit easier.
After college I lived in Paris, France for 2 years (after a short stint working as a salad girl at a local restaurant to save money). I moved home due to my visa expiring and have been working in the friendly skies ever since. I lived in New York the first 2 years of being a flight attendant. If you call living with four other girls in a tiny apartment in Queens living, then that's what we will go with for now. I guess you could consider me a bit of a gypsy. I was then based in Chicago and had a crashpad. It wasn't until four years ago that I found myself getting a house with my sister in Nashville and since then I've settled down a bit. (Bit being the keyword there.)
Wouldn't change anything about my life or my travels for a second. I live life by the motto "no regrets!" If you can dream it, do it.
